My Story

I’m Aspacia Kusulas, a graphic designer, calligrapher & letterpress printer originally from Mexico of Greek heritage, currently based in Los Angeles. I received a BA Degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico.

For the past few years I have been working as a graphic designer and licensing specialist at Spaco, creating material for brands like Forever21 and collaborating with its legal team in researching licensing and overseeing compliant graphics and fonts for customs & international trade requirements.

I also freelance as a designer specializing in creating beautiful and effective brands, packaging & stationery with a strong emphasis in typography and calligraphy. Every project that I design has unique needs and my approach is allows to design things from scratch. For each project, I apply a methodology based on research, sketching concepts, designing and refining details. This allows me to identify your most important needs and ensure a successful visual solution.

I am now teaching calligraphy workshops and really enjoy instruction. I teach in both Mexico and Southern California.
