An introductory Calligraphy Workshop will be held at Papermum Press in Pasadena. In this five-hour workshop you will learn the anatomy of the nib and the correct use of the tools, the basic pen strokes to write small, and capital alphabets with an oblique dip pen and a flexible nib. Also, you will learn the basic concepts and helpful tips on how to develop your own style.
Each student will be supplied with a calligraphy kit which includes: 1 pen holder, 3 nibs (Nikko G, Gillot 404 y Brause 66), Sumi ink, an inkwell, gum arabic, booklet with instructions and exemplars, paper pad, and guideline sheets.
This will be an exciting workshop for anyone interested in learning something new or to expand your knowledge in the world of letters. No previous experience is required.
